This morning, after breakfast, proceed to witness the inner workings of a volcanic eruption while walking in the path of lava that flowed thousands of years ago. Visit the lava tunnel, which is one of the biggest in Iceland and gets up to 30 metres wide and 10 metres high. Later, proceed to visit Iceland’s most stunning sights – Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir Geothermal Area and Pingvellir National Park. This Geysir geothermal area boasts spouting springs, including Strokkur, the most active geyser in Iceland. At Gullfoss, stand next to the amazing waterfall, watching enormous quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Reykjavik.

This morning after breakfast, proceed to visit the South Island, take a photo stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, a part of the Seljalandsa river, which has its origins in Eyjafjallajokull glacier & the Skogafoss waterfalls. Later, visit the Reynisfjara black sand beach, with the Reynisdrangar rock formations and columnar basalt. Additionally, stop by the Solheimajokull glacier and walk up to a small lake that has formed in front of the retreating glacier. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Reykjavik.

Visit the small fishing village of Arnarstapi, which provides real insight into quintessential volcanic craters. Along the way, get the great views of the iconic Kirkjufell mountain and the dark cliffs and black sand of Djupalonssandur bay. After the tour back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Reykjavik.

This morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed for a city sightseeing walking tour including a visit to Harpa Concert Hall Conference Centre, Reykjavik Old Harbour, Reykjavík Maritime Museum, Hallgrímskirkja Church, and other highlights. Later, transfer to Reykjavik airport to board your flight to Akureyri. On arrival, transfer to the hotel & check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Akureyri.

This morning, after breakfast, proceed to The Lake Myvatn area, which has been a filming location for major Hollywood films and TV shows, such as Game of Thrones, Fast & Furious, and Star Wars. En route to Lake Myvatn, cross Eyjafjordur fjord and enjoy the view of the town, the ocean, and the mountains surrounding the fjord, then have a photo stop at the picturesque Godafoss Waterfall. Explore the pseudo-craters of Skutustadagigar and enjoy the great panoramic view of the area. Later, visit local nature highlights, such as Hverir Mud Pools, Mt. Namafjall, Dimmuborgir Lava Fields, and Grjotagja cave. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Akureyri.
