Arrive at Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport, Dili, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some time to relax, begin a gentle orientation of Dili, the capital and main gateway to Timor-Leste. Visit Palácio do Governo, the waterfront area and Dili Cathedral, followed by a relaxing evening along the seafront. If time permits, enjoy sunset views from Cristo Rei of Dili, the iconic 27-metre statue overlooking the coast. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Dili.

After breakfast, explore Dili's historical and cultural attractions. Visit the Resistance Museum, which provides an important introduction to Timor-Leste's struggle for independence, followed by Santa Cruz Cemetery, an important historical site. Continue to Tais Market, where you can see traditional Timorese woven textiles, handicrafts and local products. Later, visit Government Palace and enjoy a walk along the Dili waterfront. After an early breakfast, transfer to the port for your journey to Atauro Island, a beautiful island north of Dili known for its clear waters, coral reefs and traditional villages. Upon reaching Baucau, explore the historic Old Town, with its Portuguese colonial architecture and quiet streets. After breakfast, drive further east towards Lospalos, travelling through some of Timor-Leste's most scenic countryside. En route, experience traditional villages and landscapes associated with the Fataluku culture. Continue towards the eastern region and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere away from the capital. After breakfast, begin the return journey towards Dili. Take a scenic route with stops at selected coastal viewpoints and local villages along the way. On arrival in Dili, visit Cristo Rei if it was not covered on Day 1, or spend some leisure time at Areia Branca Beach. The afternoon can be kept relaxed for shopping, cafés and souvenir purchases.
